One day my dad said that he had some laptops donated from a large client of his but they were just missing power adapters and needed new batteries but they were excellent systems.

He asked if any of my friends needed one.  When I mentioned that there are lots of kids at school who could not afford a new one and the school systems were too slow we came up with the idea of putting a web site together.

Its purpose was to repurpose technology, get it to students who need it and at the same time keep it out of the land fill.

Tech 4 Teens was born.
